Day 6
Another breathtaking day viewing the park and its denizens--via bus over about 6 hours, with John, our bus driver. He helped us with spotting the wildlife.

Dall Sheep

Moose, of course

Lone caribou

Marmot--Her
baby was nearby but didn't stay out long enough to pose for a picture!
WOLF on the move!!

Mama Grizzly with two cubs--quite some distance away--but David has a good camera.

Turnaround point of the tour, at the Toklat River--we're just goofing around with moose and caribou horns. It is here that Charles Sheldon first envisioned protecting this area.

It is not easy to capture the expanse of this park (or the State) with a camera, but we tried.
